    1 - PREPARES THE SKIN TO FACE SUN EXPOSURE

    DesmoSun™ boosts natural melanin production, activates the tan in a harmonious way and fights against winter-blues.

    Clinical study protocol: Application of a body lotion with 1.5% DesmoSun™ or a placebo for 56 days on 2 groups of around 20 volunteers. Instrumental evaluation of skin pigmentation (melanin index by SkinColorCatch) on the abdomen (area not exposed to the sun) and taking of photos.

    2 – PROTECTS SKIN DURING SUN EXPOSURE

    DesmoSun™ prevents UV-driven damages: skin inflammation, protein carbonylation and DNA/RNA.

    Ex-vivo study protocol: Application of 1.5% DesmoSun™ on skin explant. UVA irradiation applied. 8-OH-dG (main oxidative DNA/RNA-damage product) was performed by epifluorescence using a fluorescent probe.

    In vitro study protocol: Application of a mineral or organic sun base with 1.5% or 3% DesmoSun™. Evaluation of SPF and UVAPF booster effect according to ISO 24443 standard.
